The project covers cellular telecommunications network technologies, including radio access, the core transport network and service capabilities.
Cellular IoT Connections are estimated to reach 2.2B by 2025 – source Machina ResearchCellular networks have already reached global penetration and Governments / Multi-national organisations are underway to support 4G and beyond, globally. 3GPP will happen. Data has for many years outstripped Voice traffic on Cellular networks and this will only escalate as the demand for sending small amounts of data increases. NB-IoT is the perfect transmission medium for sending data reliably, globally.
